Can research and data-driven policies counter migration trends that tend to harm vulnerable regions?

We collect unique data from social media on key drivers of migration flows - why people move, where they move, and what makes them stay and settle.
We identify the spatial effects of mobility on the economic, social, and environmental conditions of both sending and receiving regions – in short, a closer look at the regions which people move away from and the ones they flock to.
We study and web-scrape and collect regional policy strategies and policies that help turn the individual benefits of mobility into societal benefits. This is all put into a concrete digital tool - the Resilient Regional Policy Dashboard - to help policymakers design strategies and policies that benefit both migrants and remote communities, promoting inclusive and sustainable regional development.
